Privateer LLC was formed on August 25, 2005 in the commonwealth of Virginia; it is a veteran-owned small business. Having had the privilege of serving their country in the past Privateer’s ownership doesn’t harbor any illusions about making that claim in the present.

We are currently in the business of providing a service for a fee. Conscious of that fact, we incur a new set of obligations and intend never to fail these. If we collect the fee, we provide the service. Privateer will never take a job it can’t do and will only take a job if there is one to do. We will only respond to solicitations for work where we believe there is a value added; if the contract is unnecessary, redundant, or a waste of government resources Privateer won’t take it.

Privateer’s responsibilities to its clients are only matched by that to its employees. In a time of war people will be placed at risk. Professionals make a decision to be in harm’s way, but Privateer has no expectation that employees should face dangers that ownership has foregone. We will never ask an employee to go on a mission that we would not go on.
We have served in Stabilization Force (SFOR),  Kosovo Force (KFOR), Operation Iraqi Freedom, and  Operation Enduring Freedom.

With first hand experience in deploying to multiple theaters of operations and lending specific expertise in adverse conditions, Privateer is poised for expansion.
